Thoughts
7 Years, I think of him daily. How sad that he isn't here to see his beautiful daughter grow in beauty, both mental and physical. He would be so proud of her, as am I.

6 years. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him and some unexpected thing kicks me in the stomach with the pain of his loss. His daughter is now a young woman, smart, able and very beautiful; she has a good soul, he would be very proud.

Year 4. The time has flown but not the pain. He is so sadly missed and the pain when I think of all the things he is missing is unbearable. A few weeks ago, Laila said that she is saving her 'Ashes' pendant to wear when she gets married. So her Dad will be there. Heart breaking.

Candles
Jamie, Christmas has lost its gloss, I kept it going in the hope that Laila would have a few food memories but we are both sad at Christmas, the time we all spent together as often as possible. She now has a steady fellow and will spend this Christmas with him and his family as she did last year. It is sad that the family Christmas is no more but Laila now has to look to the future and be happy and her own person. My time with you and David gone is only for her.
